PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an external facing material, which secures high waterproofness over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A bracket 1 is fixed to lathing 11. One end of the external facing material 13, which is composed of a metallic plate, is fixed to one-external-facing-material backside retaining part 5 of the bracket 1 via a first seal material 6. The other end of the external facing material 13 is superposed on the other external-facing-material backside retaining part 5 of the adjacent bracket 1 via the first seal material 6, and an interval 14 for sliding is formed between a protrusive piece 4 and a leading end of the other end of the external facing material 13. A part 8 to be locked is locked to a locking part 3; one external-facing-material front-side retaining part 9 of an outside cover 7 is pressed against one end of a surface including a part, fixed by a fixing implement 12, of the external facing material 13 via a second seal member 10, and the other external-facing-material front-side retaining part 9 of the outside cover 7 is pressed against the other end of the surface of another adjacent external facing material 13 via the second seal member 10.
