PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock operation checking device which enables an existing crescent to be additionally retrofitted with the function of checking a lock operation. SOLUTION: This lock operation checking device comprises a base part 10 which is mounted near the crescent 4 provided on the side surface of a meeting stile 3a of a double sliding sash, and an operation part 15 which can freely slide with respect to the base 10; the base part 10 is internally equipped with a power generation part 13 which generates power along with vibrations, and a transmission part 12 which performs a signal transmitting operation by electricity generated by the power generation part 13; the power generation part 13 has a driving part 21 which generates the vibrations; and the operation part 15 is equipped with a linkage part 16 which is linked with the driving part 21, and a stopper part 17 which regulates the turning of the crescent 4 from a closed state in the state of being elongated with respect to the base part 10.
