The inventive mouse-type cursor control device comprises a mechanical and/or optical coordinate unit arranged therein, is provided with a control ball which is mounted on the external surface of the body cover and is connected to the converters for converting the position thereof into electrical signals or with additional four keys which are arranged on the external surface of the body cover near the mouse buttons and connected to converters for converting the position thereof into electrical signals in such a way that a two-dimensional displacement function is implementable.
