A sheet (2) is cut by operating a lever fixing device (7) or a cylinder fixing device (8) whose cutting line neighbors a tag strip. The tag strip may be in the form of a streamer (13,22) e.g. neon stringer which is connected to a voltage supply such that the streamer is switchable ON and OFF. The tag strip may also be in the form of an ink stripe formed using luminous paint.
