<p>A base (1), provided with a number of grooves at its upper surface is either permanently attached to the tongue (5) of the shoe or boot or pushed onto a shoe lace (3, 4) permanently tied into a knot at the ends. A lid (2) is positioned at a slight distance from the base (1) forming a gap for the accommodation of the lace (3, 4). The recesses are provided with an adhesive layer (6) in order to keep the loose ends of the lace (3, 4) in place after they have been pulled tight and inserted between the base (1) and the lid (2).</p> |
