FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbines. ^ SUBSTANCE: turbine is designed for converting kinetic energy of liquid or gas into mechanical work. Proposed turbine contains cylindrical housing, tangential intake branch pipe arranged over periphery of housing and axial discharge branch pipe arranged in center, and rotor installed on shaft. Rotor is made in form of sup closed at one end. Tangential intake branch pipe is furnished with axial spiral guide member to provide tangential delivery of working medium to cup wall near its open end face. Axial discharge branch pipe is arranged with its inlet hole in cup space.
