<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high-sensitivity polarization performance by acquiring antenna polarization characteristics which are suitable in cooperation with a screen display state suitable, at both broadcast receiving time and at portable telephone communication time. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna element 1 is carried in a display unit housing 3 so that its helical axial direction coincides with the longitudinal direction of a liquid crystal display unit 2. The display unit housing 3 is connected so as to be rotatable to an upper housing 5 by a rotary shaft 4. The upper housing 5 is coupled so as to be openable to a lower housing 7 by a hinge 6. Consequently, the main polarization direction of the antenna element 1 is changed, in cooperation with which the rotating state of becoming horizontally long or to become vertically long the screen of the liquid crystal display unit 2 is interlocked with, and the antenna polarization characteristics, suitable for both at the broadcasting time and the portable telephone communication time, are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
