<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an shock relaxing device advantageous in a mounted space and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The shock relaxing device 10 has a collision detecting means for detecting a collision, a shock absorbing means 30 for absorbing a shock in the collision, and a control mechanism 40 for controlling the state of the vehicle using a fluid.
