<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas filter which is manufactured easily and has high filtration performance. <P>SOLUTION: This gas filter consists of a laminate body in which a plurality of wire nets are laminated and, if necessary, deformed, wherein the wire net constituting the laminate body has a plurality of convex crossed parts formed by making a plurality of wires cross one another, and the adjacent wire nets have different wire diameters and different pitches between the adjacent convex crossed parts, different wire diameters and same pitches between the adjacent convex crossed parts or same wire diameters and different pitches between the adjacent convex crossed parts, respectively.
