<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink holder performing on-off control of a luminescence means according to a liquid level height of a liquid in a beverage container. <P>SOLUTION: The drink holder comprises a holder portion for holding the beverage container, a sensor detecting the liquid level height of the liquid in the beverage container placed on the holder portion and the luminescence means on-off controlled based on a detection signal of the sensor wherein the luminescence means gives light in accordance with the liquid level height of the liquid in the beverage container placed on the holder portion. A flexible circuit board is arranged on the holder portion facing a side surface of the beverage container and the flexible circuit board is provided with electrodes for a capacitance type proximity sensor which comprises the ground electrode and the detecting electrode arranged to surround the ground electrode. Existence or nonexistence of the liquid in a detection region is judged by the detection signal of the capacitance type proximity sensor and the liquid level height of the liquid in the beverage container is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
