<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating at least the upper side of a food with a freely flowing particulate coating material, and to provide an apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This method for coating at least the upper side of the moved food 100 with at least one layer of the freely flowing particulate coating material is characterized by pouring the coating material on the food moved from a storage container 60, while dividing the coating material into a partially coarse coating material 90 and a relatively fine coating material, first coating the moved food 100 with the substantially coarse coating material 90, and then coating the food with the relatively fine coating material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
