<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device reduced in the number of external connection terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device 101 is provided with an AND circuit 143 as a clock signal producing means, a shift register 142 as a serial/parallel converting means, a D/A convertor 141 as a digital analog converting means, and a comparator 140 as a comparing means. A reverse phase clock signal is inputted into the AND circuit 143 upon the normal operation of the electronic device 101 while the same phase clock signal is inputted upon initiation. Accordingly, the clock signal is generated from the AND circuit 143 upon initiation when the shift register 142 is to be operated and the same signal is inputted into the shift register 142. Consequently, a clock signal input terminal is not necessary to be provided newly and the reduction of the number of terminals becomes possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
