<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply controller for a vehicle in which the operation of a predetermined vehicle mounted electric load is secured within a range not causing the run-down of a vehicle mounted battery when an occupant gets on or off a vehicle where vehicle power is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: An occupant getting on a vehicle and a occupant getting off the vehicle are detected, respectively. When the occupant getting on the vehicle is detected, power is supplied from a vehicle-mounted battery to a BGM reproducing section of a vehicle-mounted audio apparatus and BGM is reproduced therefrom. When an ignition switch is turned into an accessory-on state, power supply to that BGM reproducing section is stopped. Even if the ignition switch is turned off, power is supplied from the vehicle-mounted battery to the BGM reproducing section of the vehicle-mounted audio apparatus and BGM is reproduced therefrom.
