<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which automatically performs correction in an oblique direction to a screen with ease. <P>SOLUTION: The projector comprises an image distortion correction circuit for correcting a distortion of an image by deforming display on a display device, and an image sensor capable of picking up a projected and displayed image and a screen installed in the vicinity of a projection lens. A distance between a plurality of points on a display screen of the projector unit and the projector unit is calculated from the image picked up by the image sensor to detect a positional relationship between the projector unit and the screen, and an image is displayed in a target shape on the screen by the image distortion correction circuit in accordance with detected positional relationship information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
