<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator usable even when a patient is at home and/or going out (including the time of moving inside a car or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator comprises a compression means for compressing air taken in from an air intake, an absorbing means for absorbing prescribed components other than oxygen inside the compressed air inside an absorption cylinder and removing them from the compressed air, and a product tank for storing concentrated oxygen from which the prescribed components are removed, and can be operated by a detachable battery. A pressure adjusting means is provided on the downstream side of the product tank and the pressure adjusting means is provided with a filter formed of a hole diameter equal to or less than 100μm (micrometers). A flow path switching means provided on the compression means side of the absorption cylinder is formed by a pilot type solenoid valve, and the compression means is operated prior to the pilot solenoid valve at the time of activating the concentrator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
