<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow meter which is compact and lightweight and has high-speed responsivity by solving the problem that a delay in detection occurs caused by a delay in a change in the flow rate of a fluid to be measured in a flow meter, because even when a flow channel is blocked the fluid continues to flow through the flow meter or even when the flow channel is opened the fluid continues to stay at the same place, because the fluid has inertia, no matter how fast a sensor is. <P>SOLUTION: The flow meter comprises a main part 2 which is provided with a channel section 11 of which the upper portion is opened and is provided with a connecting section 8 at both the ends of the channel section 11 which allows the channel section 11 to communicate with the outside, a removable lid 5 which seals the opened upper portion of the channel section 11 to define a measuring chamber 19 which is rectangular in cross section and through which the fluid to be measured flows, and a circuit board 6 which is in close contact with an outer surface of the lid 5. The lid 5 is provided with a sensor hole 20 which opens toward the measuring chamber 19. The circuit board 6 is provided with a flow sensor 22 which is placed within the sensor hole 20 and makes a detection surface 27 face the measuring chamber 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
