<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device which can detect the insertion of a key even if the same key is used over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This lock device, which is equipped with a key detecting mechanism 50 equipped with a slider 60 slidably arranged so as to cross a keyhole 21 of a lock body 20, comprises a slider storage hole 51 which is formed so as to communicate with the keyhole 21 from an outer peripheral side wall 22 of the lock body 20, the slider 60 which is held in an urged manner by a bottom surface 59 of the hole 51 from the side wall 22 of the lock body 20 by a detection member 54, while being housed in the hole 51, an urging means 40 which is housed in an urging means storage part 41 formed in at least either the slider 60 or the hole 51, and an extrusion surface 35 which is formed in a cylinder key 30 along the inserting direction of the keyhole 21.
