<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNS (domain name system) server obtaining user attribute information of a user requesting name resolution and customizing the name resolution precisely for every user on the basis of the obtained user information without forcibly changing current user environments (terminal, OS, application software or the like used by the user). <P>SOLUTION: The DNS server B1 includes a user information identification part B12 for identifying the attribute of the user who has transmitted a DNS query message through a user information obtaining part B13 to deliver an identified result to a response generation part B15, the user information obtaining part B13 for referring to a user information database B14 to obtain the user attribute information of the user who has transmitted the DNS query message, and the response generation part B15 for searching a response database B16 for a name resolution method corresponding to the user attribute information delivered from the user information identification part B12 to perform the name resolution according to the found name resolution method, thereby enabling the name resolution to be precisely customized for each attribute of the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
