PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical alkali ion water generator which can generate a large amount of alkali ion water in a short time without requiring power supply, has long-term reliability, and enables cost reduction. SOLUTION: The alkali ion water generator comprises a tank 2 having a water supply inlet 4a and a water outlet 4b, a rotary shaft 13 supported by bearings 11, 12 in the tank 2, a rotary vane 16 fixed to the rotary shaft 13, a plurality of rotary discs 17 fixed to the rotary shaft 13 at prescribed intervals, electrolyte supporters 19 each made by supporting an electrolyte 18, and fixing means each for fixing the electrolyte supporter 19 to the rotary disc 17. The rotary shaft 13 is rotated by the rotation of the rotary vane 16 by the pressure of water introduced from the water supply inlet 4a into the tank 2. While rotating the electrolyte supporters 19 each fixed to the rotary disc 17 around the rotary shaft 13, alkali ion water is generated by the electrochemical action of the water introduced from the water supply inlet 4a into the tank 2 and the electrolyte 18.
