PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-making and packaging machine with a function for attaching a manufactured bag to a band, which can reduce heating load applied to the band except during welding and prevent the occurrence of malfunctions such as alteration or damage of the band. SOLUTION: A strip attaching part of the bag-making and packaging machine 1 has a holding mechanism, a moving mechanism and a fixing mechanism 33. The fixing mechanism 33 welds a bag B to a strip S at a fixing point P2. The fixing mechanism 33 is equipped with a heater 33a, a pressing cylinder 33b and a pressing body 33c. The bag-making and packaging machine 1 has the heater 33a standby at a distance from the strip S except when the bag B is welded to the strip S. When the bag B is to be welded to the strip S, the heater 33a is moved to the fixing point P2, and the pressing body 33c is also moved to the point P2 for welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
