PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blur correcting device which can be made small-sized as a whole by making a movable part light in weight. SOLUTION: The image blur correcting device is equipped with the movable part 30a capable of moving including turning in a 1st direction orthogonal to the optical axis of a photographic lens and a 2nd direction orthogonal to the optical axis and the 1st direction, and a fixed part 30b supporting the movable part 30a in a movable state. The fixed part 30b has horizontal direction and vertical direction Hall elements used to detect the positions of the movable part 30a in the 1st direction and the 2nd direction. The device has a position detecting coil 41a used to detect the positions of the movable part 30a in the 1st and the 2nd directions oppositely to a Hall element part as a position detecting magnetic field generating device, and has a horizontal and vertical position detection area as a part of a winding which forms the position detecting coil 41a oppositely to the horizontal direction and the vertical direction Hall elements.
