PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile driving method capable of efficiently driving pile bodies to the ground from positions above an obstacle. SOLUTION: Short unit pile bodies (unit sheet sheet piles 5) are sequentially driven by a pile driver 6 while they are connected together underneath the obstacle (piping 4). When driving the unit pile body, a frame body 7 is installed in a manner movable up and down outside the obstacle; the frame body 7 is located between the pile driver and the unit pile body; and the unit pile is driven through the frame body 7. The frame body is installed in a manner connectable to the pile driver 6 located above and has an opening 8 larger than the size of the obstacle located below. The frame body has a high rigidity and an inner effective height larger than the driving stroke of the unit pile body. The unit pile body is held by a holder 9 attached to the opening 8, and the unit pile body is driven to a position where the obstacle reaches an inner upper portion of the frame body from an inner bottom portion of the frame body.
