[PROBLEMS] Preventives or remedies and synthetic hormone preparations for osteoporosis used at present have side effects and can be hardly taken as a food or a drink. Therefore, it is intended to provide a drug, a medicine, a food and a drink efficacious in preventing or improving osteoporosis which have no side effect different from the conventional preparations and can be conveniently taken as a food or a drink in daily life to thereby inhibit an increase in bone resorption. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A preventive or a remedy for osteoporosis comprising, as the active ingredient, a water-soluble fraction of kudzu and a medicine, a food and a drink containing the same.
