The present invention relates to a strainer which supplies pure and clean water, prevents trouble of a water meter, and is easy in maintenance and repair. The strainer of the present invention includes: a filtering member detachably mounted inside a main body and filtering nets doubly and firmly mounted on upper and lower fixing members thereof; and a sealing member for hermetically sealing a water inlet portion and a water discharge portion formed connected portions between the main body and the filtering member. The main body is long, and so, the water meter can be directly installed on the main body.
