<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery with a welding property improved. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with an outer package case 11, an electrode assembly 20 housed in the outer package case 11 and composed by winding a positive electrode 23, a negative electrode 22, and a separator 21 interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, a cap assembly 30 sealing the outer package case 11 and leading out current from the electrode assembly 20, and a positive electrode collecting plate 70 as well as a negative electrode collecting plate 40 arranged at positions facing each other pinching the electrode assembly 20 and electrically coupled with the electrode assembly 20. A plain finish part 22a without any active material coated is provided at an end part of the negative electrode, and the negative electrode collecting plate 40 surface treated 50 with metal different from a material of the negative electrode 22 is electrically coupled with the plain finish part 22a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
