METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DENITRATION CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply regenerate a lowered activity regardless of the cause of the lowered activity.

SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the denitration catalyst comprises the steps of: imparting an aqueous solution obtained by mixing a peroxy titanate aqueous solution or a titanium sulfate (Ti(SO4)2) aqueous solution with oxygenated water to the surface of a base material; and drying and firing the aqueous solution-imparted base material. An active component such as iron and vanadium can coexist in the aqueous solution. When the denitration catalyst having lowered activity is used as the base material, the lowered activity can be regenerated.
