PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide system enabling a visitor of a museum or art gallery to tour it while finding out relations among independent exhibits or art works.

SOLUTION: A guide information generation device 100 of this guide system comprises a visitor database 1006 for storing tour history information of a user and evaluation information for each exhibit of a visitor 2; an exhibit database 1002 and a viewpoint database 1004 for storing viewpoint information corresponding to each remarkable point of exhibits with illustrative information corresponding to the viewpoint information in association with an exhibit ID; and a guide processing part 1010 evaluating the concern of the visitor 2 based on the tour history information and the evaluation information, and generating and outputting, according to the viewpoint information matched to high-level concerns, information for recommending the corresponding exhibits to a portable terminal 100.
