PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amine production method which does not need the solvent removal by distillation necessary for reaction liquid concentration, simplifies the operation for distillation-recovering an object and thus, improves an object stability under heating. SOLUTION: The amine production method comprises preparing amines by decarboxylatingα-amino acid under heating in a high boiling point liquid polymer having an average molecular weight of 200 to 6,000 and then directly recovering amines by distillation in the same reaction system, namely in one pot.
