PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band attaching apparatus capable of preventing a failure in attaching to a band by interference between bags attached to the band. SOLUTION: A strip attaching apparatus 200 is equipped with a strip attaching mechanism 30, a strip carrying part 41 and carrying guides 48 and 49. The carrying guide 48 retreats once a bag B attached to a strip S in the strip attaching mechanism 30 to an opposite face side to an attached face of the bag B on the strip S.
