PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement of the memory position of a seat back caused by simultaneously performing a reclining unlocking operation and a reclining memory operation, in a seat reclining device having a reclining locking mechanism and a reclining memory mechanism. SOLUTION: The seat reclining device comprises the seat back tiltable with respect to a seat cushion, the reclining locking mechanism that regulates the tilting of the seat back and can perform an unlocking operation to the regulation, the reclining memory mechanism capable of performing the memory operation of storing the angle before the tilting and allowing the tilting of the seat back independently from the reclining locking mechanism, and an operation restricting means for disabling the operation of the other when one of the unlocking operation of the reclining locking mechanism and the memory operation of the reclining memory mechanism is performed.
