PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for exterminating insect pests (imago, larva, pupa, egg, or the like) parasitic on agricultural products without using any agrochemical. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the agricultural products is composed of a water supply means, a water-scattering hose for jetting water of the water supply means to the agricultural products, a water-scattering nozzle attached to the tip of the water-scattering hose and a high-pressure pump for applying pressure when feeding water of water supply means to the water-scattering nozzle. In the controlling apparatus, insect pests which are close to and adhere to agricultural products are exterminated by jetting water to the agricultural products from the water-scattering nozzle.
