PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array base station which can improve the reception sensitivity for an OFDM transmission system. SOLUTION: A correlator 1030 detects the arrival timings of a desired wave and an interference wave from a signal sent by the OFDM system. A reception answer vector estimating unit 1050 estimates a 1st answer vector to a signal arriving in a guard interval section from the 1st arriving wave among the desired waves; a 2nd answer vector to a signal, arriving after the guard interval section from the 1st arriving wave; a 3rd answer vector to the signal, arriving in the guard interval section from the 1st arriving wave among the interference waves; and a 4th answer vector to the signal, arriving after the guard interval section from the 1st arriving wave. An adaptive array block 1070.k derives a weight vector, according to the result of Fourier transformation of the 1st to 4th answer vectors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
