PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater storing-discharging device superior in space-saving performance by easily attaching-detaching to an existing rain gutter, reducing cost by reducing the number of part items with a simple structure, superior in productivity, capable of automatically opening-closing a drain hole in response to a water storage quantity, superior in operational stability, sanitary by cleanly keeping the inside of a rainwater basin and a water storage tank, and superior in resource-saving performance by effectively using rainwater. SOLUTION: This rainwater storing device has (a) a drain hole opening-closing cover body for opening and closing the drain hole, (b) a float part connected to the drain hole opening-closing cover body and vertically moving by a water level, (c) a float projecting part formed on an upper surface of the float part, (d) a float control part having a storage part for storing the rainwater flowing in from a water supply pipe, an inclined part formed in one side part of the storage part and a float connecting part rotatably engaged with the float projecting part of the float part on a bottom surface of the storage part, (e) a float guiding part for internally inserting the float part so as to be vertically freely movable, and (f) and abutting supporting part for supporting the float control part by abutting on the inclined part of the float control part.
