PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector that can continuously unlock and rotate a lever, can easily release fitting with an objective connector, and has an inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: In the lever type connector 1, a lock mechanism 70 for locking the lever 60 to an end point position is provided in a housing 50 and the lever 60. The lock mechanism 70 comprises a housing-side lock arm 80 extended at the lower side of a rotation track nearly along the rotation track of the lever 60 from the start point position side of the housing 50 toward the end point position side; and a lever-side lock arm 90 that is provided in the lever 60 and is extended in a direction opposite to the extension direction of the housing-side lock arm 80. The lever-side lock arm 90 has a lock release operation section 91 at the upper side of the free end, and has a locking section 92 locked to the housing-side lock arm 80 below the lock release operation section 91.
