PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of keeping strength of a hood part. SOLUTION: In a terminal housing part 31 of a male housing 3, male terminals 2 are press fitted and held. From both sides of the terminal housing part 31, hood parts 32 are formed so as to surround both the ends of the male terminals 2. At tip parts of the pair of hood parts 32, lock holes 32b engaging with lock pieces 74 of a female connector 5 are formed on their upper surfaces so as to pierce the hood parts 32 inward and outward. Reinforcing ribs 32c for increasing strength of the hood parts 32 are formed between the respective lock holes 32b and edge parts 32d of the hood parts 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
