<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool the components inside a crank case efficiently by sucking the air into cylinders through the internal space of the crank case. <P>SOLUTION: The crank case 2 is furnished with an inflow hole 38 to feed the air flowing into the crank case 2 and outflow holes 46-49 to allow the air inside the crank case 2 to flow to the outside. The inflow hole 38 is furnished with a filter 39 for sucking in, while the outflow holes 46-49 are connected with the suction ports 9, 20, 26, 32 of cylinders 6, 18, 24, 30 through suction lines 50. Through utilization of the suction stroke of each cylinder, the external air is allowed as the cooling wind to flow into the crank case 2 from the inflow hole 38, and is sucked into the cylinders through the suction lines 50. This can cool bearings 5, 15, 16 etc. installed in different parts in a crank chamber 3 efficiently even if the object is a compressor of multi-cylinder type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
