PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner containing residual polymerizable monomers in an amount of <70 ppm and excellent in environmental safety. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner is substantially spherical, contains all residual polymerizable monomers in an amount of <70 ppm, and has fluidity of≥55%, and a residual metal ion content of≤170 ppm.
