PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a change given to a ball becomes large when a cue stick hits even slightly off the center of the ball and ball control is difficult. SOLUTION: A cue stick for billiard is composed of a shaft and/or bat 1 formed by forming a groove 2 in a length direction on the surface of the shaft and/or bat 1 formed from wood and fitting a fitting member 3 to the groove 2. Also, the billiard cue stick is formed by providing the plurality of grooves 2 formed in the length direction on the surface of the shaft and/or bat 1 formed of wood and fitting a bamboo material 3a, a wood material 3b or a hard synthetic resin material 3c to the grooves 2 as the fitting member 3.
