PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device having high optical performance by suppressing a variation in photodetector balance. SOLUTION: The element installation area 4 of a flexible wiring board 1 is segmented into first and second areas 41 and 45. As the point bonding spots of the first area 41, three points, i.e., the root part E of a wiring routing area 2, and side edge parts F and G of both sides sandwiching a virtual longitudinal line Y, are selected. As the point bonding spot of the second area 45, one point, i.e., a facing edge part H positioned on a side opposed to the root part E of the wiring routing area 2 sandwiching a virtual horizontal line X, is selected.
