PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member for structural members including cage members constituting a skeleton of a structure, which can connect the cage members vertically adjacent to each other without problems even if the hoop members have mounting errors. SOLUTION: The hoop members 16, 16, etc. are connected together and supported by the connection members having rods 110, 110, respectively. Each connection member has the rod 110 and a joint 112 connecting the vertically aligned two rods 110, 110 together in a hole formed in the cage member 16. The joint 112 is formed of a spherical bearing 114, a rod lower support body 118, a rod upper support body 124, etc. The spherical bearing 114 is arranged in the hole 17 formed in the cage member 16. Further the rod lower support body 118 has formed therein a ball body 116 supported by the spherical bearing 114, and a spherical hole 117 in which a lower spherical body portion 110A of the rod 110 is supported, to thereby constitute a double spherical rotary body.
