A system for simulating the interior design of a vehicle, especially the driving position, e.g. for designing new vehicles, has adjustable support frames as well as adjustable mountings for the steering column and steering wheel. The designer is able to vary the relative positions within the adjusting range of the supports, e.g. to fit steering systems from different designs into the planned vehicle. The upper support for the steering column is adjustable in all directions.
