FIELD: automotive industry; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed exhaust gas cleaner contains two communicating working chambers in form of truncated cones fitted to each other through bases at angle of approximately 90°, mirror arranged at angle of 45° in holder secured at base-to-base butt joint. First heat insulating chamber contains laser beam lens tube placed in center over which intake tube is located, and air tube secured on laser beam lens tube. Preliminarily prepared reacting mixture passes along intake tube into space of first heat insulating working chamber where mixture is subjected to action of monochromatic laser radiation at temperature exceeding 200°C acting onto chemical bonds of molecules. Mixture turns through 90° having reached the mirror set at angle of 45° and then gets into second working chamber where it is finally cleaned by action of laser radiation reflected by mirror. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of cleaning. ^ 7 cl, 3 dwg |
