FIELD: chemical technology of processing sulfur-containing materials; methods of production of polymer sulfur of high thermostability used in tire industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heating of sulfur, introduction of modifying agents, mixing of reaction mass in turbulent mode at application of hydroacoustic field at oscillation frequency of 15 Hz-20 kHz and return of one part of reaction mass for mixing at application of hydroacoustic field and delivery of other part to reactor where reaction mass is mixed with solvent in laminar mode at internal heat removal; then product is subjected to cooling. ^ EFFECT: increased yield of product at minimum expenses; possibility of ensuring continuous process at high productivity. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 4 ex |
