FIELD: apparatuses for restoring shape or straightening local deformations on sheet metal. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing, straightening member with through openings, packing member and suction off vacuum pump. Housing includes axial and radial openings. Straightening member is made of rubber; it has axial opening coinciding with axial openings of housing and it may be secured to housing by means of screws. Inner surface of packing member is jammed between straightening member and housing. On outer surface of packing member -shaped wire springs are mounted. Ends of said springs are embedded into radial openings of housing. End of housing is joined with tube. Handles are provided at both sides of said tube. On end of tube there is union connected with hose for air suction by means of vacuum pump. Opening of tube is communicated with axial openings of straightening member and of housing. ^ EFFECT: reliable, long useful life apparatus and packing for it for vacuum straightening of deformed bodies of cars, elimination of air suction between contact surfaces of damaged body and packing device, effective lowered -cost straightening of deformed bodies. ^ 3 dwg |
