SLOSHING PREVENTION DAMPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloshing prevention damper which can be developed smoothly and surely in synchronization with the surface of a liquid in a tank and prevent the generation of sloshing surely and effectively, maintaining the developed state without being wound up by the shaking inner liquid. SOLUTION: The sloshing prevention damper is provided with a solid plate 13 composed of two flat plates 13a connected in a foldable state and arranged opposing each other and a connecting member 14 connecting the solid plate 13 upward and downward in the height direction of the tank and a wire 15 spread between the connecting members 14 located at upper and lower position of the developed solid plate 13 and a partition member 11 having the highest connecting member 14a and a shock absorbing member 12 fixed to a floating roof 2, wherein two or more the solid plates 13 and the connecting members 14 are connected in the height direction of the tank and the lowest connecting member 14b is fixed to the bottom part 1b of the tank.
