PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catching device capable of catching a cockroach and capable of being easily treated as garbage. SOLUTION: This catching device is composed of tubes 1, 2 the insides of which are each lined with a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, attached to a suction part of a vacuum cleaner, and used so that the cockroach is sucked by the vacuum cleaner and the cockroach which is caught by an area of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the catching device is treated as the garbage as it is, wherein the catching device is composed of the cylindrical tube 1 the inside of which is lined with the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and which is made of paperboard, a conical tube 2 the end part of which is tapered for the purpose of preventing the cockroach from being sucked in the vacuum cleaner in case of sucking the cockroach, the inside of which is lined with the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and which is made of the paperboard, and an air passage 3 which is positioned on the end part of the conical tube 2 for the purpose of not disturbing air suction of the cleaner.
