PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable of attaining weight reduction as well as enlargement of a rotor diameter while preventing leakage of magnetic flux. SOLUTION: This rotor includes a shaft 3 disposed along an axial center, a yoke fixed on the outer-periphery side of the shaft 3, a permanent magnet 6 disposed inside the yoke 4, end face plate 7, 7 regulating axial movement of the permanent magnet 6, and a fixing member 8 for fixing the end face plates 7, 7.
