PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a centrifugal resistance force of a rotor, and to achieve size reduction, high efficiency, reduction in space for a control circuit, and cost reduction in electric blower that is controlled by a semiconductor switch. SOLUTION: A slip ring and a position-detecting ring are provided on the rotor. Double windings are wound on an iron core having multiple slots to form a rotating body that is well balanced and superior in centrifugal resistance. A stator winding is configured to form magnetic poles of one pole pair with one or two coils. The "on/off" of a power switch is controlled by a voltage signal of a brush made to contact a position-detecting sensor ring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
