PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a motor that uses a dust magnetic substance as a core, exhibits high permeability, and is improved in mechanical strength while being reduced in iron loss at even high rotational speed and having excellent features, and to provide a manufacturing method of the rotor for the motor that can easily and stably manufacture the rotor. SOLUTION: The rotor for the motor is characterized by being obtained by molding magnetic body particles with their surfaces coated with insulating materials, by arranging magnets therein, and by having a reinforcing layer on its external periphery. The manufacturing method of the rotor for the motor is characterized by molding the magnetic body particles with their surfaces coated with the insulating materials into a cylindrical shape, by heating the surface of the obtained cylindrical molded body by inducing an induction current on the surface, and by having a process that fusion-bonds the magnetic substance particles on the surface.
