PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which a gravitational defect and a non-filling phenomenon are prevented, further a contact failure and occurrence of foreign matters inside are reduced and further a pressurizing defect is prevented, a method for fabricating the same and a display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has an active region and a liquid crystal margin region, and is constructed by comprising a first substrate on which gate lines and data lines to define a plurality of pixel regions and a thin film transistor array equipped with thin film transistors are formed in the active region, a second substrate on which a first column spacer is formed so as to be in contact with a part corresponding to a channel region of the thin film transistor in the active region and a second column spacer for non-filling prevention is formed in the liquid crystal margin region, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and second substrates.
